Chestnuts roasting on an open fire....and other stuff.

Well Christmas came and went and here is what went on. I'm really pooped after today so there are lots of pictures and not much comments. Well our holiday started last night where we exchanged ornaments on Christmas Eve. We decided to start this tradition since when we got married we had no ornaments.

I got Adam a Yoda ornament! He loved it!

And here is our tree Christmas morning. (and yes...we did just buy one huge roll of wrapping paper so this is probably what our tree will look like next year!! haha!!)

Then we headed across the valley and went to Adam's parents house. Here is his mom Mary. See...it runs in the family to put bows on your head (apparently!)

There was a Suns game on so that occupied most of the guys time in the house.

Kevin got these cool air pump guns that shoot paintball sized nerf balls. They were a blast. For about 2 hours the whole house became a war zone. And i am sooooo tired.

Scraps was feeling neglected cause he had to sit outside while everyone was inside having fun. Poor Scrappy-doo.

And that was Christmas! For some reason it didn't really feel like Christmas, however I had fun with everyone, at all the families. And now I'm tired and sooo ready for bed, and will dream of sugar plums dancing in my head! Merry Christmas everyone!

Pretty lights...

So last night most of the Malnar clan went to see the Zoo Lights. I love the zoo anyway, so being able to combine twinkling christmas lights, and the zoo is fantastic. Plus it wasn't even that cold outside, which was very nice. Last time I went I froze my patooty off! It was also extremely crowded, but we made it to the main lot and stalked some people who were leaving, at least they were nice about it. But this year my nephew Ian got to go! Once he was out of his stroler and his bottle daze was wearing off he was really interested in the lights. Then afterwards we all went back to our house and had some hot Cranapple cider. (yum) So here are a few pics!

Christmas Card time.

So this weekend I had my friends daughter come over and take our pictures for our Christmas cards. For some you will probably get this in the mail...Anyway, here is our little family pictures!


You should have seen what my friend Toni was doing to make the dogs look directly at the camera!! It was pretty darn funny!


It was a good thing we did it when we did cause about 30 minutes later it started raining!! I love taking family pictures! We also went to the Nutcracker, and it was pretty good for a ballet school production. (Heck the 5 years olds in it are hands down already better dancers than me! haha!) Anyway, the funniest things were...it seemed the whole row behind us was made up of old people who had to comment on everything, and had no idea what an inside voice or a whisper consists of. (By the end of the play I was cracking up everytime they commented on something) Then, the kid sitting next to Adam really had something to prove in the clapping department. I have never heard anyone clap as loudly and with such vigor as that kid! He definately has a future as a proffesional studio audience member. And he had plenty of times to practice cause this particular audience didn't really understand when the proper times to start clapping were. So there was a lot of clapping going on. I think on occasion he was actually the one who started it! Anyway, it was pretty funny.

A prime example of the douchebags of the world...

So I don't know if many of my friends out there have had any problems with this prime example of a douche bag on blogspot, but his name is PetroMargo, and apparently he is a hateful, spiteful, little prick of a douche that apparently has nothing to do but go around on different blogs and write how everyone is racist, everyone is hateful, and how he hates Mormons. This imbecile, preaches of how he hates right wing conservatives, and just seems to have a hatred for everyone. So after receiving hateful, ignorant ramblings posted to my blog 2x, I decided to google PetroMargo and blogspot, and found many postings done by this speck of a person on many people blogs, and in not one does he have anything nice to say to anyone. (And Jill...He even posted something negative on a blog you follow the kthanksbye one) Anyway... I just find it ironic that he talks about how he hates all these people who hate things, and yet his posts are full of hatred. So I just wanted to post this and if anyone else has had problems with this twit, then please feel free to post something!! I feel sorry for people like this that have nothing better to do than to spew ideas of hatred and ignorance throughout the world making themselves feel better by putting other people down to people they don't even know. I feel sorry for people who have such small mindedness and can think no other way than to follow the masses, instead of thinking for themselves. And I also feel sorry for people like this that have nothing better to do than to troll blogs and try to make themselves sound intelligent, when in reality we all know they probably have no friends and spend most of their time locked in their bedrooms, probably still at their parents house (and we all know they are probably compensating for something else too...)

So seriously if any people come across this and aren't liking what they are reading (like that stupid prick) then, like a regular adult, close it and move on with your life, and maybe...just maybe... try finding something that brings a little light and joy into your life, instead of resentfulness and hatred. Trust me...it makes life a lot easier and better.

And to all the other people out there that might read this and are afraid to blog about certain things (and I know some of you have had problems with jerks like these)...please blog away. Don't let closed minded people like this, who are only subscribed to blogspot to obviously post hatred, since there is nothing on their blogs, make you think you can't speak your mind! Speak away!!
